The University of Health Sciences is determined to put the foundations for a sustainable program of research that paves the way for an environment of growth in its reputation and capability of conducting fruitful areas of research. Our strategic plan outlines the need to improve the quality of our education. We are convinced that launching effective research will contribute to the formation of our lecturers and will create a stimulating environment for both academics and students, thus enhancing the quality of education. Our country is recovering from years of unrest and destruction, including laboratory buildings, instruments, and the emigration of our qualified and experienced researchers.

The building of infrastructure for research and the success of research lines will enable us to be competitive and capable of contributing to the solution of local health issues as well as attracting collaboration with other local and international institutions. Ultimately, our goal is to promote the health status of our community and to contribute to national development.
