Message of Dean

I am delighted to welcome you to the Faculty of Medicine (UOHS). The faculty was established in 2014 to respond to the shortage of qualified medical doctors in our country.

Our Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) program is dedicated to graduating skilled, ethical, and competent physicians who are capable of providing excellent healthcare, conducting innovative scientific research, and being ready for continuing professional development. The curriculum we follow is comprehensive and meets the highest standards of medical education.

Our faculty members are experts in their fields and dedicated to training medical students. In addition, the faculty emphasizes practical and clinical training.

Graduates of our program are working in public and private hospitals and clinics across the country.

Others are doing postgraduate specializations in the region. Newly graduated students conduct their internship training in local and regional hospitals. We look forward to supporting the personal and professional growth of our medical students. Best wishes,
