I am very glad to welcome the Faculty of public health, and also would like to extend my deep thanks for visiting the University of Health Sciences website. Public health is the most essential links among health chains. .

Our faculty of public health was established on September, 2012 as a diploma program regarding to the needs of the public health faculty in the country and the currently offers, the Bachelor of Science in Public Health. And academic curriculum contains information that is useful to undergraduate students and staffs in the faculty of Public Health throughout their program of study. .

As a Dean, The Faculty of Public Health is dedicated to excellence in protecting and improving the health and well-being of the people of the area, the State of Somalia, and the nation, and of others throughout the world. The faculty of public health achieves this mission by: educating scientists, professionals and the public; conducting research to develop solutions to public health problems; providing public health service; and formulating public health policy.

Our alumni work with ministry of health, local and international non-governmental, academic , health researches institutions and some them continuous their education for master and current students are finding fruitful subjects communicable and non-communicable prevention, community public health preparedness, primary health care, biostatics and epidemiology , researches based community needs, environmental health science and advocacy for public health policy with full skills and enough training. .
